Activities are used to track the time you spend on projects and/or opportunities. You can add activities daily or weekly.
An activity can be any task, internal meeting, client meeting etc. that you need to account for in your work day. When you add an activity in .STUDIO it can be linked to a project or an opportunity as well as a team member.
Track time daily
Some organizations require time to be tracked daily or even hourly. We can do this in .STUDIO by clicking on the New Activity button in the List view.
Once the Activity Details form opens up, select the Project or Opportunity from the drop down list.
If you can't find the Project or Opportunity you are looking for it could be because it not been added or you may not have appropriate permissions to view it. Please contact your .STUDIO administrator for assistance.
Once selected, you can go ahead and enter the start date and time and the number of hours you spent on this activity. Also update the stage of the opportunity or project and the type of activity from the list provided.
If this is a billable activity click the toggle switch to activate it
Finally fill in any relevant details in comments and click save to record your time.
Track time weekly
All times are recorded hourly. You can include fractions of an hour. e.g. 1.5 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
