Before you start working on .STUDIO for your projects, your opportunities, your activities or your address book, it is important that you work on your default settings.
We will focus on Company Related Default Settings in this article.
So let's begin,
To work on your company settings, click on your profile Icon to the top right of your screen, click on settings. Within the settings menu, you will find various options related to your company.
Company profile:
The information you add in here will reflect in your PDF sheets. Click on edit company profile, and add the information needed. You can then Proceed to add your company logo by clicking on choose file and selecting the Logo from your system.
Default Currency:
While it's possible that you may have some projects that require a different currency, you can add those specific currencies in the projects section. However, it's recommended to set one currency as the default for your company, as it is the primary currency used for most transactions. Proceed to add the currency that your company primarily deals in as the default setting and click on save.
Finance Email Setting:
This feature allows you to specify the email address of a designated finance team member who should be notified when invoicing is required at a particular stage of your project. Click on the "Add" button to begin adding email addresses.
When adding multiple email addresses, you can separate them using commas. For example, "finance1@example.com, finance2@example.com". After adding the email address, save your changes.
Industry type:
This allows you to classify and organize your contacts based on their respective industries. This classification is particularly useful when creating contact or company information. When you navigate to the industry type section, you will find a pre-defined list of default types.
Here's how you can manage or Customize the industry types according to your company's requirements:
When you click on the industry type section in your company settings, You will see a list of default industry types that are already created.
If you want to modify an existing industry type, click on the "Edit" option next to it.
If you wish to remove an industry type from the list, select the "Delete" option.
To add a new industry type, click on the "Add" button and enter the name of the industry and if there are specific industry types that you would like to categorize as vendors, you can do so by toggling the switch to the right for those particular types.
Subscription:
This tab shows the licenses you’ve subscribed for. You can reach out to us through email or whatsapp if you'd like to add additional licenses.
Users:
We have covered this in the next Article for Role Settings and Adding Users since it needs a a more detailed tutorial.
Company role:
There are times you add associated contacts to a project you're working on. For example, you take on a project to work on its interior Designing bit of it and have fit-out contractors outsourced for it, you can add them as an associated contact and select the role that company will play in this project.
Edit and delete from the action button and create a new one by clicking on the “Add Company Role” Button.
Project Type:
This could be used to define what kind of project you're working on. For example - Hospitality, Corporate, Residential etc.
Edit and delete from the action button and create a new one by clicking on the “Add Project Type” Button.
Notifications:
You can stay up to date with notifications on activity that involves you including mentions, messages, replies to your posts, invitations, and important administrative updates. Go ahead and click on allow notifications and set it up as per your preference.
