How to add an Existing Finish to an Item

If a finish has already been created, you can link it to an item without creating a new finish. Follow the steps below:

Steps

  1. Open the required Project.
  2. Navigate to the appropriate Package.
  3. Open the item you want to link the finish to.
  4. On the item page, select the Details tab.
  5. Under the Details tab, click Add Finishes.
  6. In the search field, enter the name of the finish you want to link.
    • The search will display existing finishes that have already been created.
  7. Select the checkbox next to the required finish.
  8. Click the red Add button to link the selected finish to the item.

Result

The selected finish will now be linked to the item and will appear in the item's Details tab.

Note: Only existing finishes can be linked using this method. If the finish does not appear in the search results, you will need to create a new finish first.
