How to Create and Link a New Finish to an Item

If the finish you want to link is not available in the existing finishes list, you can create a new finish and link it directly to the item.

1. Open the required Project. Navigate to the appropriate Package.
2. Open the item you want to add the finish to.
3. On the item details page, select the Details tab.
4. Click Add Finishes.
   
5. Scroll to the bottom of the window and click the red Create Finish button.
   
6. Complete the required fields, such as:
   Code
   Name
   Product Type
7. Click Save to create the finish.
8. If you would like to add more information, open the finish in Details page view and complete the additional fields.
9. Click Save again.

The newly created finish will be automatically linked to the item and will appear under the item's Finishes section in the Details tab.
