# Timesheet Entry Controls
## Timesheet Entry Controls allow administrators to manage where users can add, edit, or delete timesheet entries across .STUDIO. Restrictions can be configured globally or at an individual project level.
1. Global Controls
Navigate to **Master Settings → Timesheet Entry Controls under Activities**

**Allow Timesheet Entries:** The master switch controls all timesheet entries across .STUDIO. When disabled, users cannot add, edit, or delete timesheet entries anywhere in the system.
**Entry Controls:** Administrators can enable or disable timesheet entries for:
- **Projects**
- **Opportunities**
- **Internal Activities**
2\. Project-Level Settings
Administrators can also manage timesheet restrictions for individual projects.
To access these settings:
1. Open the required project.
2. Click the **Settings** icon on the right-hand side, around the middle of the screen.
3. Open **Timesheet Entry Controls**.
The available restrictions depend on the project's budget configuration:
- **Without an active budget:** Restrictions can be managed at the individual project stage level.
- **With an active budget:** Restrictions can be managed at the individual budget line-item level.
Summary
Timesheet Entry Controls offer two levels of management:
- **Master Settings:** Configure global permissions for projects, opportunities, and internal activities across .STUDIO.
- **Project Settings:** Apply specific restrictions at the project stage or individual budget item level, depending on the project configuration.
