Why Am I Seeing “Unassigned Specifications” When Exporting?

If you see “Unassigned Specifications” during export, it is usually due to how your section template hierarchy is set up.

Cause:

Your items are not properly assigned within a parent and child section structure.

The system requires a three-level structure:

Parent Category (Section) → Child Category (Section) → Item

Correct Example Structure

• Parent Category (Section): FF&E

• Child Category (Section): Furniture

• Item: Chair

If the child category level is missing, the item (e.g., Chair) will not be properly categorized and will export under Unassigned Specifications.
